Lovell expands affordable housing project in East Yorkshire

Lovell Partnerships is advancing a new phase of affordable housing in Hornsea, East Yorkshire, in collaboration with Together Housing. The development on Cliff Road comprises 66 gas-free homes, including two-, three-, and four-bedroom properties, as well as bungalows, for residents aged 55 and over.

The project features air source heat pumps and solar panels, part of a drive to reduce carbon emissions and support both organisations’ sustainability goals. Homes England funds it and forms part of Lovell’s ongoing efforts to deliver energy-efficient housing across northern England.

Of the homes being constructed, 26 will be available for shared ownership through Together Homes, thereby increasing access to affordable housing for first-time buyers. The development will also feature landscaped green areas, private gardens, off-street parking, and a children’s play area.

David Ward, Lovell Managing Director for the North, said:
“We are proud to continue our partnership with Together Housing to deliver much-needed affordable and shared ownership homes in Hornsea. Collaborating with like-minded partners who share our values and commitment to sustainable community growth is central to how we work. This development is a fantastic example of how partnership working can make a real difference for local people.”

The Hornsea project continues a longstanding partnership between Lovell Partnerships and Together Housing aimed at addressing regional housing needs and creating sustainable communities through modern, low-carbon design.
