Blue Islands will launch twice-daily flights between Southampton and Leeds Bradford airports from 29 March 2026, enhancing regional connectivity for business and leisure travellers across the UK.
The Channel Islands carrier plans to operate the service year-round using 70-seat ATR aircraft, linking Yorkshire with the South Coast in under 90 minutes. The new route will also provide same-plane connections from Jersey to Leeds Bradford via Southampton, along with links to Guernsey, improving access for Channel Islands’ travellers.
The service aims to strengthen transport links between two major regional economies, reducing the need for road and rail transfers and offering flexible flight schedules for corporate passengers.
Blue Islands’ introduction of the Southampton–Leeds route aligns with broader efforts by UK regional airports to boost domestic flight networks and support business mobility outside London hubs.
