Evri and Asda expand parcel partnership ahead of Christmas

Evri and Asda are rolling out ParcelShops across all 1,200 Asda stores by April 2026, extending a service that has already launched in more than 300 locations, including Express sites and larger supermarkets. The initiative positions Asda as the first UK supermarket to partner with Evri for a nationwide parcel network.

The service enables shoppers to collect and return parcels from multiple retailers while doing their grocery shopping. It forms part of Asda’s strategy to enhance in-store convenience and provide a wider range of services under one roof.

Evri has been investing heavily in expanding its out-of-home network, with plans to double its number of ParcelShops and lockers to 25,000 by 2030. This partnership supports that ambition and strengthens its position in the last-mile delivery market.

Martijn de Lange, CEO of Evri Group, said: “This landmark agreement with fellow Leeds-based Asda strengthens our commitment to creating a delivery network fit for the modern UK shopper, directly giving them choice, convenience and control. We are excited about the opportunities this new partnership will bring, helping us further drive our ambition to expand our capabilities and deliver an even more comprehensive, cost-effective, and customer-focused service across the UK and beyond.”

Chris Hall, Vice President of Logistics at Asda, said: “One of the things that sets Asda apart is our unmatchable mix of services, so we’re delighted to be partnering with Evri to be able to launch a brand-new one just in time for the festive season. We know how much our customers value convenience, and this service gives them the flexibility to collect or return an Evri parcel whether they’re popping in for a pint of milk in one of our Express stores or doing their big shop in one of our larger stores.”
