The Leeds office of property consultancy Knight Frank has brokered a significant office sale in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire.
The 17,895 sq ft Woodland House, part of the Woodland Park development, has been sold by Parker and Parker Investments for £2m.
It has been acquired by KJA Group Chartered Accountants as their flagship offices.
Victoria Harris, associate with Knight Frank’s office agency department in Leeds, who advised Parker and Parker Investments, said: “This is a significant deal, underlining that the out-of-town office agency and investment market in West Yorkshire is still active and resilient, despite challenging economic circumstances.
“There’s no doubt that and well-located office buildings remain attractive investments, provided the price is right. Woodland House falls firmly into this category. It was very satisfying to complete this important transaction in conjunction with our client.”
Raza Effendi of KJA Group said: “We are delighted to have acquired such a prestigious office building. Being located at Woodland House will enable us to better serve our growing client base in the region and beyond. We thank Knight Frank for their assistance in making the acquisition possible.”
