Carlisle-based Orian Solutions Group has acquired Harrogate cleaning firm It’s Clean Ltd as part of its strategy to strengthen its position in the North of England.
The deal, completed on 1 September, brings together two long-standing regional service providers with complementary strengths across public and private sectors. It’s Clean, which has operated across North and West Yorkshire for more than 25 years, serves clients in offices, schools, care homes, manufacturing, and hospitality. Orian Solutions, jointly owned by Westmorland & Furness Council and Cumberland Council, provides contract cleaning and catering services to local authorities, emergency services, and education clients.
The acquisition expands Orian’s footprint into Yorkshire and gives It’s Clean access to Orian’s established governance structure and public sector expertise. The partnership is expected to improve operational scale, workforce benefits, and service delivery across both organisations.

Orian has recently secured multi-year contracts in the police and fire sectors, while It’s Clean has added clients in the charity and insurance industries. The Harrogate team will continue to operate under the It’s Clean brand, retaining its leadership and customer-facing operations as part of the Orian Group.
