An affiliate of Sun European Partners LLP has completed a strategic investment in Turners Accident Repair, a multi-site automotive repair group with a strong presence across the North of England.
The investment serves as a strategic development in Sun’s buy-and-build investment in the collision repair sector, expanding its geographic footprint and unlocking new growth opportunities.
Founded in 1969 and headquartered in Selby, Turners Accident Repair is a third-generation family business that has prospered under the guidance of Stuart, Susan and Thomas Turner. It has become a preferred partner for a number of insurers and operates across the North of England, with locations in Leeds, Doncaster, Sheffield, Ripon, Durham, and Selby.
Thomas Turner, managing director of Turners, said: “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built at Turners over the years, and I want to thank our dedicated team, loyal customers, and valued partners for their continued support.
“Joining forces with Sun marks an exciting new chapter for our business. Their strategic vision and future plans align closely with our own values, and we’re confident that this partnership will accelerate our growth and strengthen our position in the market. We look forward to continuing to deliver outstanding service and innovation in partnership with Sun.”
Alexander Wyndham, managing director at Sun European Partners, added: “We’re delighted to partner with Turners, a highly respected operator with an outstanding reputation for quality and customer service. Together, we see significant opportunities to accelerate growth, expand the network, and strengthen relationships with key customers.”
