Lloyds Living expands Yorkshire rental portfolio

Lloyds Living has secured 294 additional homes across four Yorkshire sites through its partnership with housebuilder Keepmoat, increasing the company’s national portfolio to more than 7,600 properties.

The new homes will be delivered across Hungerhill, Firbeck, South Elmsall, and Upton as part of a wider strategy to scale purpose-built single-family rental housing in high-demand regions. The scheme includes a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom properties designed for long-term rental use, with more than 200 of them built to all-electric specifications to support zero-carbon-ready standards. The full portfolio is set to achieve NextGeneration Bronze certification, a recognised benchmark for sustainable residential development.

Matt Burgess, CEO of Lloyds Living, said: “This new deal represents two fundamental parts of what we do: working with great partners, like Keepmoat, and delivering high quality single-family homes to the rental market in the places they are needed.

“These new homes offer high specification accommodation that meets some of the highest modern building standards; they don’t just increase the availability of rental homes, they improve the quality of it, and the quality of life for our customers.”

Strategically located to provide convenient access to schools, transport links, and essential amenities, the developments aim to attract families and professionals seeking modern, energy-efficient housing with strong regional connectivity.
