The UK Civil Aviation Authority has named Crispin Orr as its newest non-executive director, strengthening the Board’s oversight as the aviation sector continues to evolve through regulatory change, technological advancement, and rising operational complexity.
Orr brings more than twenty-five years of aviation safety experience, including his recent tenure as Chief Inspector of Air Accidents at the Air Accidents Investigation Branch. His appointment adds specialist knowledge in investigation, risk management, and safety governance at a time when the industry is working to maintain resilience and support long-term growth.
