MTX Contracts has acquired Shipley-based Elite Group as part of a strategy to broaden its capabilities in facilities management, engineering services, and small works across the healthcare sector. The deal strengthens MTX’s ability to support NHS organisations facing significant estate maintenance pressures, including a multibillion-pound backlog reported nationally.
Elite Group brings a 45-strong team and a £7.5m turnover into the MTX portfolio. MTX, founded in 2002, now employs more than 85 people and records a turnover of £130m. The business expects the combined expertise to enhance long-term support for existing clients and improve its reach across the wider NHS estate.
Daniel Bowman has been appointed managing director of Elite Group following the acquisition.
