Katie’s Kinder Care, a long-established nursery in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, has been sold to Kids Planet Day Nurseries. The transaction marks the first change of ownership since the nursery was founded in 2006.
The 72-place nursery occupies eight acres and provides early years education for children aged from birth to five. It was sold through Christie & Co as part of the founder’s decision to step back for family reasons.
With this purchase, Kids Planet continues its expansion across the UK, bringing its portfolio to more than 240 settings nationwide. The sale price was not disclosed.
