Persimmon has expanded its strategic land capabilities with the acquisition of Lone Star Land Limited, a Warwickshire-based planning promotion company.
Lone Star Land, headquartered in Henley-in-Arden, specialises in identifying and promoting strategic land for residential development. The company has built a reputation for managing medium to large-scale land opportunities and navigating complex planning processes.
Under the deal, Persimmon will retain Lone Star Land’s existing team to ensure operational continuity. The business will continue to run independently, maintaining its focus on land promotion and long-term development partnerships with landowners and agents.
The move strengthens Persimmon’s strategic land portfolio, positioning the housebuilder to secure additional development opportunities across high-demand areas. The acquisition also supports Persimmon’s growth strategy by broadening its pipeline of sites for future housing delivery.
Lone Star Land will remain led by managing director Richard Burke, who will oversee its integration into Persimmon’s wider land operations. Persimmon, headquartered in York, said the acquisition enhances its ability to bring forward strategic land and deliver new housing supply across the UK.
