Berkache Services Ltd, trading as YorLoos, has completed the acquisition of York-based A64 Loo Hire, marking a major expansion of its portable sanitation and wastewater management services across Yorkshire.
The deal transfers A64’s entire fleet, customer contracts, and assets to YorLoos, enabling the business to increase capacity while maintaining service continuity for existing clients. A64’s operations will initially continue under the name “A64 Loo Hire – now part of YorLoos” to ensure a smooth transition before fully adopting the YorLoos brand.
The acquisition strengthens YorLoos’s position within the region’s construction, event, and long-term hire markets. Founded in 2022 by Lotfi and Lyes Berkache, the company has grown rapidly by focusing on reliability, rapid response, and customer service.
“This is a major milestone for YorLoos,” said co-founder Lyes Berkache. “A64 Loo Hire has been a trusted local name for decades, and we’re proud to carry forward their legacy. By combining their loyal client base and strong reputation with our modern systems, rapid-response approach, and commitment to exceptional customer care, we’re confident we can deliver even greater value for customers across Yorkshire.”
A64 Loo Hire, established in the 1970s by David and Andrew Tagg, has been a long-standing supplier to local authorities, construction firms, and event organisers. By integrating A64’s experienced workforce and established client base, YorLoos will significantly expand its operational reach and service coverage across Yorkshire.
Berkache Services Ltd’s Services Manager, Charles Hancock, will oversee long-term hire and construction operations as the business continues to build its footprint within the regional sanitation and site services sector.
