Modo25 continues exceptional growth with senior appointment and account win

Leeds-based digital marketing agency, Modo25 has strengthened its senior leadership team by appointing Nicola Sharp as chief financial officer – bringing the team size to 35.  

With over 15 years of finance and CFO experience, Nicola has previously held roles as Group CFO at Smoothwall for 11 years, growing the business’s turnover from £1 million to £15 million. She was also a crucial member of the team during a management buyout of Smoothwall in 2017.  

Nicola brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role and will be responsible for the agency’s overall financial management and governance. She will be responsible for supporting and driving the company strategy and managing internal and external relationships.  

Discussing her role, Nicola said: “I’m looking forward to joining the exciting and forward-thinking Modo25. The agency has a fantastic ethos and culture and I look forward to being a part of the journey and growth of the agency.”  

In addition to taking on the role at Modo25, Nicola is also a portfolio CFO working with  AppsAnywhere Ltd and Solutionpath Ltd.  

Sharp’s appointment will further develop a robust management framework for the agency and coincides with the company being appointed by the UK’s number one kitchen worktop retailer Gemini Worktops

The digital marketing agency is supporting Gemini Worktops based in York, has linked up with Mood25 to maximise and improve the website’s performance, test conversion points, and improve the user experience for customers. 

Aside from delivering robust CRO strategies to enhance the established Gemini Worktops, they have also benefited from utilising BOSCO™. Created by Modo25 data scientists, BOSCO™ is a machine learning platform that helps retailers and businesses measure the success of their organic and paid media channels when compared to their competitors.
